So the rest of my family is up at the lake for the week, and I'm stuck at home because of my job. It's not too bad, I mean I have run of the house. The only problem thus far is that my cat is a huge attention whore. He's used to having five people and a dog (who he gets along very well with and often plays with) to keep him entertained. with my family and the dog away, it's down to me. He follows me everywhere around the house, meowing every 10 minutes, and demands to be on my lap whenever I'm sitting down. Normally that wouldn't be that bad, except when I'm gaming and holding a controller on my lap, but no one trimmed his claws before they left, and it's a two-person job that I can't pull off by myself. He really doesn't like having them trimmed, so you need one person to pin him down and the other to do the trimming.

So he jumps onto my lap and starts pawing before he lies down, digging his claws in. Then he usually rests a paw on one of my arms, and digs the claws in as he sleeps. He drew blood on my left leg today THROUGH THE PANTS. That stung.
